Northern Okinawa Adventure Day

A full-day blend of jungle, coast, and culture. Begin with a beginner-friendly river trek to a hidden waterfall, then shape your afternoon by mood and weather, paddle calm waters, hike to panoramic views, or mix cycling with a scenic drive. Optional add-ons include a private boat charter to Minna Island or a hands-on Yachimun pottery session.

09:00 — Welcome at the TTD Office

Meet your guide, get fitted with gear, and review the day’s plan and safety briefing.

Morning — Hidden Waterfall & River Trek (Beginner)

  • Gentle river trek: 30–40 minutes each way beneath lush forest canopy

  • Swim time: Cool off in clear natural pools at the falls

  • Lunch at the waterfall: 30–45 minutes to relax and refuel

Afternoon Experiences — Choose One

(Selected by weather and group preference)

  • Mt. Katsu Hike — Intermediate trail (~40–50 minutes each way) to sweeping 360° views over Nago

  • Cycle & Scenic Drive — Pedal through a historic Ryukyu village, visit a hidden spiritual power spot, and take in dramatic coastal scenery

Optional Afternoon Add-Ons (advance request required)

  • Private Boat Charter & Snorkeling — Minna Island
    Explore pristine reefs with a private skipper at your own pace (additional fee’s apply).

  • Yachimun Pottery Experience
    Learn traditional techniques and craft a plate or cup to be kiln-fired and shipped to you (additional fee’s apply)

16:30 — Tour End & Return

Return to the TTD Office; onward transfers available upon request.
